iQ Academy connects students, teachers, and parents.
iQ Academy makes it easy to be part of a thriving high school community by enabling students and families to make new friends and meet up with old ones. Our program includes:
- A variety of schoolwide and national iQ clubs that give students a nationwide community of friends, classmates and teachers
- Access to the iQuad community, an iQ members-only social network comprised of students, parents, teachers and staff
- Participation in fun social and extracurricular events throughout the state
- Use of the iQ Commons, a secure, interactive meeting place where students and parents can go to share stories about iQ Academy experiences, make new friends and discuss various topics of interest
- College placement advice, job and career counseling and community volunteering opportunities
Our learning model allows for both one-on-one interaction between teachers and students, and dynamic teacher-moderated student group discussions. Teachers, your learning coach and school counselor are easily accessible via phone and email and you can communicate with other students. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their student's education, and we keep them up to date with regular progress reports, real-time assignment logs and conferences with our counselors. Parents can also network with other families to talk about their experiences.
