We know how important it is to keep parents in the loop when it comes to their children's education. We also know that many parents feel they cannot offer as much academic guidance once their child is at the high school level.
The instructors at Beacon Academy of Nevada are certified teachers and subject matter experts in their field of study. They have also received special training in online instruction techniques and are readily available to assist students with their coursework.
As a parent, you can stay involved in a number of ways:
Set a daily schedule
Help your child set a daily schedule that works for your family. Encourage your child to discuss his or her work with you regularly.
Follow your student's progress
Access your child's grades and follow their progress with a Parent Observer Account.
Community Coordinator
Become a Community Coordinator or work with other Community Coordinators to arrange opportunities for students to get together with other Beacon Academy of Nevada students.
Parent Newsletters
Keep up with all the news by reading our monthly Parent Newsletter.
Communication
Contact teachers and staff to discuss your child's progress or voice any concerns or comments.
Connect with other families
Participate in Beacon Academy of Nevada's periodic regional meetings where students, parents, teachers, and staff meet to discuss Beacon Academy of Nevada developments and connect with other families.
