Beacon Academy of Nevada is a public high school program for Nevada residents. Any Nevada resident of high school age is eligible to apply.

Beacon Academy of Nevada is provisionally accredited as a Distance Education School for the school year 2010-2011 by the Commission on Schools of the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools with member schools in states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, along with other geographical areas of the United States and the world.
Enrollment in Beacon Academy of Nevada indicates intent and exclusive enrollment in public secondary education in Nevada and is not homeschooling. Such enrollment cannot be used in conjunction with any form of private secondary education. Enrollment in Beacon Academy of Nevada relinquishes any further participation in any form of a homeschooling program or private secondary education.
