At Beacon our students are able to communicate with each other on both academic and non-academic topics through a variety of online tools. Our online learning system, Blackboard features online discussion boards in almost every class. Students are able to interact with each other on a number of topics as they are covered in each class. Students are also able to join iQuad, our very own social-educational networking site. On iQuad, students can discuss a wide variety of topics that interest them. They can also join clubs to take their discussions further and meet new people from across the country in a safe, moderated environment. Weekly national and local chat sessions are also held allowing students live interaction and the ability to make new friends.
